I have never really understood the point of blogs. Up until my sister created one to share her road trip with us, her friends and family, I hadn't even really investigated the world of blogging at all. However, since reading her blog, I've been inspired to use the medium to try and explain to my international friends and family what it is that has happened to bring me to this point.
This blog is only intended for people who have been directed here either through Facebook or email. The reason for this is because, what I am about disclose here references a history which, as those whom I had grown up with and have gotten to know very well over the years, can be controversial. therefore, also, there are some things that I have to metaphor as a way of preventing over-disclosure to those whom have not had the opportunity to hear my full, unabridged explanation of events. Before reading this you should consider that what was once true, may no longer be true, or the context may have changed on account of new experiences and the revelations of new information.
With all of that said, I would like to invite my friends, family, and those few acquaintances who have earned my trust to take a look.
